Whoops! Forgot to post Liam's collage too!

Liam says as Sissy reads us a book at cookie time. Our new habit of reading during family table time, had been really fun today! During lunch, I read the first chapter in 'The Littles: and Their Amazing New Friend', which we got a short lesson in science regarding their hot air balloon adventure! We'll just leave that book on the table to finish together! Amalea read a new library book called 'Just One Bite' by Lola Schaefer that has the coolest pictures and fold outs of animals taking bites and depicting size.... We got inspired to make a paper collage together!

One of our family goals this year is to spend more time outdoors! Here we are climbing trees.

November 2011 We got the news that we get a plot at the Mountain View Community Garden!  Yeah, after 4 years on the waiting list, here is our plot!  10x25 feet.  Lots of work, but we are up for it!

For Liam's 3rd Birthday this year, Amalea and I built a milk carton igloo.  152 empty milk cartons hot glued together in a great design that could be moved from room to room.  The kids had a great time in it, until Liam decided that destroying it was much more fun than playing IN it.  Our milk carton igloo took on the energy of a Tibetan Sand Drawing......... after all it is all about the 'process' isn't it?
